Happy Franken Friday! Today I have one of my creations, Comet Powered. See I have this dream of having my own line of Vampire Diaries polishes. This is one installment, fueled by the season one episode, Night of the Comet. I created this polish in early September. I am quite proud of it. :)

I used Wet n Wild Black Creme and Sally Hansen Ice Queen. Ice Queen is a clear base with purplish and blueish hex glitter and silverish micro glitter that is kind of holographic. I added a tad bit of clear polish to jelly the base a tad. Not much. Pictured is two coats :)

So.........................then this new polish collection came out from ORLY. The polish everyone wants is called Androgynie - a black jelly base with hex glitter and micro glitter that's kinda holo. Without even knowing it, did I pre-dupe an ORLY polish? Kind of! lol It's not exactly the same, but it's similar. My base is more dense, and the glitter is only two colors, but...
This is a swatch from my dear friend Amber, who has the blog Rainbows and Sparkles. I don't own Androgynie, and she was kind enough to let me use one of her swatches :) Comet Powered is not by any means a complete dupe. But it is kind of like it! What do you think?
